Welcome to presight’s networking event
Topic: Human factors that influence safety and how to monitor them
📅 Wednesday May 11th, 2022
⌚ 10:00 – 13:00 local time
📍 Presight offices (Level 3) at Vassbotnen 15, 4313 Sandnes / Online
Finally, we are again able to meet in person. Presight would like to invite you to a networking event at our premises where we can discuss and learn from each other.
The topic for the session is human factors that influence safe offshore operations and how to monitor them. Underlying human factors such as inadequate or insufficient training and experience in combination with limited human resources available to do the job safely, often result in weaknesses in the work processes that lead to undesired events. History has shown how the culture in an organization affects safety and how people behave, which should also be monitored.
Presight will share good practices on how to monitor human factors in a barrier management perspective. We will also tell you about our research project on safety culture, learnings from investigations and sharing experiences with you.
Lunch and snacks will be served 😊
