Achieving safer operations and improving uptime is rated as the most important priority for industrial firms. This is a key finding from the Verdantix Global Corporate 2026 Survey. Furthermore, Verdantix report also shows that industrial firms will substantially increase their spending to achieve safer operations and improve asset uptime in the next year.
Notably, Verdantix states that Process Safety Management (PSM) remains a highly relevant area. “Nearly half of survey respondents (45%) reported that process safety initiatives to enhance collaboration and communication between process safety, engineering and operations teams are a ‘high priority’ in 2026”.
Implementing digital PSM tools “reduces accidents, improves operational oversight, enables smarter decision-making and lowers costs associated with asset downtime and technician injuries caused by accidents.”
