The 2024 IADC International Well Control Conference is held in Stavanger the 15th and 16th of October in Stavanger.

The exhibition and conference will focus on “on timely technical presentations highlighting recent developments and innovations in technology, techniques, training, management systems, and a wide variety of other topics that affect well control.” 

Petter Johnsen, CEO of Presight, will present on how industries with high-risk environments can leverage “big data” from digital sources to enhance Barrier Management. His presentation will cover how integrating data on human, technical, and organizational factors creates a dynamic, holistic view that enables leaders to make informed, risk-based decisions to control major accident risks.
